From the first CRA/NRT Research Project

Hypothesis for NRT Project One

I hypothesize that all the test results for my product inventions will demonstrate that they are beneficial to take by all subjects. This reasoning is based on the fact that all my products are universally functional in support of a healthy body, mind and emotions. All of my products are functional food versus dietary supplements based on their ingredients and the form provided to mix with vegetable or fruit juice or water.

Overview of Current and Future Study(ies)

The test results from the first research project involving Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA) and Nutritional Response Testing (NRT) is focused only o n Nutritional Response Testing only. Instead of pinpointing a specific disease with muscle strength response testing (both CRA and NRT are forms of Applied Kinesiology widely used in Chiropractic for many years for the analysis and adjustment of spinal subluxations and to diagnose and treat disease with natural supplements), the focus is initially on determining the weakest organ and or gland that needs to be treated with natural supplements.

A future research project will focus on CRA only for the identification of specific diseases and which of my natural product inventions may or nay not apply. Historically, CRA invented by the Chiropractor Dick Versendaal utilized the Standard Process line of products and its dominant inclusion of raw organ and gland extracts. Currently, Dr Versendaal utilizes his own product line and excludes the use of Standard Process products. With the change in natural supplement utilization for the treatment of disease in CRA, Standard Process switched to the use of NRT, which is much more simplified. I have received comments for Chiropractors in Oregon that they prefer using NRT because it is much simpler to apply and that they found CRA to be confusing and hard to interpret muscle strength response testing in terms of diagnosing and treating specific diseases.

Both CRA and NRT are authorized by the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners. In the case of CRA, the OBCE has involved the Peer Review Committee as well as staff members from Western States Chiropractic University, including the now retried Lester Lamm, D.C. Even though members of the Peer Review Committee and Dr Lamm registered serious concerns about CRA, the board members let stand the 1995 authorizing for CRA without any further comment. The authorization for NRT is associated with a general approval of automated muscle testing techniques.

With the significant opportunities presented to the members of the OBCE concerning CRA, NRT and other types of muscle strength testing techniques that fall under the general category of applied kinesiology, it is clear that the OBCE has reinforced its approval for using various muscle strength testing methods for the adjustment of spinal subluxations and for the treatment and cure of disease.

According to the Chiropractor who invented CRA and is the inspiration for many other applied kinesiology testing methods, there are subtle energies flowing in the body that come from the organs and glands. This theory seems most closely aligned with Traditional Chinese Medicine and the 12 meridians, with the meridians as circuits of subtle energy that flow out of and back into the major organs and glands of the body.

What is this subtle energy proposed by Dr Versendaal? This so called subtle energy that has no validation with technological testing from mainstream science and medicine is more akin to the concept of Chi, Life Force and Universal Intelligence that is a part of the Spiritual Philosophy from Traditional Chiropractic. Also, the subtle energy definition is also similar to the theories about cosmic energy in Reiki, which has been authorized by the OBCE as a Chiropractic modality. Apparently, the OBCE is comfortable with the analysis of a subtle energy flowing through the body that is more of a spiritual and religious assertion that scientific. In the case of Reiki (Reiki was invented in Japan in the 1800s) that means Universal Energy in Japanese, it is part of Esoteric Buddhism as many symbol based healing methods are to this day in Japan. It is easy to see the connections between a spiritual philosophy in Chiropractic used by Traditionalists who claim that the only valid form of Chiropractic involves the analysis and adjustment of spinal subluxations and by non Traditionalists who have applied a belief in a universal source for living chemistry to CRA and other techniques that are involved directly with the diagnosis of diseases as defined in mainstream medicine. Therefore, in Oregon, the Chiropractor can draw on a broad range of techniques and methods to diagnose and treat both spinal subluxations and disease purely from a spiritual and religious point of view. In other words, the broad scope of Chiropractic in Oregon may indeed allow for the testing of body fluids and many other standard medical testing, but with the evolution of authorizations from the OBCE the Chiropractor can use much simpler methods, even though it is unknown as to their validity when it comes to a comparison with test results that come from mainstream medical diagnostics.

This research project and others that follow that deals with the different types of muscle strength response testing for the diagnosis and treatment of disease will hopefully shed light on the evolution of authorizations from the OBCE that have clearly gravitated away from the use of standard medical testing and objective feedback analysis of the spine to that of subjective methods that depend on the existence of a mysterious and spiritual source of everything in the universe. I will write more articles about the spiritual transition established by the OBCE and what this means for Oregon Chiropractors.

Note about the recently posted Advertising Policy: The OBCE recently posted updates and refinements about advertising for products and services provided by Chiropractors. Some of the key points to consider are: 1) a product or service must be backed up by credible evidence, 2) a Chiropractor cannot hold their products and services out to involve some sort of secret formula and 3) a Chiropractor cannot hold that a product and or service is superior in comparison to what is provided by other Chiropractors. Based on using CRA, NRT and other types of applied kinesiology a Chiropractor can test the products they use with patients and use this information to prove that they are highly efficacious in terms of health and healing benefits. This approach is valid because the OBCE has authorized various muscle strength response tests for the diagnosis and treatment of disease, with the capacity for CRA to diagnose almost all known diseases. Therefore, through the testing of many different subjects over time any Chiropractor can substantiate comprehensive health benefits for the products they recommend and sell to patients. The secret formula issue is difficult to justify from the OBCE based on the authorization for Reiki as a Chiropractic modality, with Reiki actually defined as a secret formula approach to healing by those who use it as a healing modality and by anyone who is authentic in the teaching of Reiki (I am an authority on Reiki, with more training than most 3rd Degree Master/Teachers). Superiority is often stated by natural supplement companies in comparing one product to another and often comes down to a comparison of ingredients and personal opinion allowed for under free speech rights associated with the US and State constitutions.

Diagnosing the Weakest Organ and or Gland: My clinical study that does not involve patients but instead a very casual approach to testing groups of subjects, the first five subjects reveals test results involving the use of NRT. No subject is given any kind of advice about their health or the results from the testing, with my role only to gather the evidence from testing for publication. A base line with a straight arm is first used to gain a feeling for a general strength response. A person holds their arm straight and parallel to the floor while in a sitting position the tester pushes down on the arm in this position. Using the NRT method the tester touches each organ and gland area and pushes down with this straight arm technique. The muscle strength response will decrease based on weakness in the organs and glands. Therefore, the first step with NRT is to list the weakest organ or gland or the weakest ones if the results are equal for those that are weakest. Secondly, the weak organ and or gland is associated with each of the twenty seven supplements I have invented and a test response from negative five to positive five is listed. Or in rare instances, a negative six or a positive six as a test result.

Ptoxy Testing: Furthermore, with some of the subjects the proxy approach to testing each of the twenty seven products is used in order to demonstrate a primary feature in both CRA and NRT. This involves having a replacement (proxy) person as the source of testing for the subject. The proxy person holds with their hand the hand of the subject, with the proxy or the subject holding the product to be tested. Proxy testing is listed when used for some of the subjects. Based on authorization for CRA, NRT and other applied kinesiology testing methods, using a proxy is also approved for the diagnosis and treatment of disease based on the belief that the subtle energies emitted from the organs and glands of the body flow into the proxy from the subject for testing with muscle strength responses.

The Top Rated Universal Product: Based on the test results for each subject, the highest rated products would be recommended by a healthcare practitioner, based on using NRT and other applied kinesiology testing methods. There most likely will only be four to six highest rated products that are recommended to any given patient. These test results will provide interesting input to any healthcare practitioner who utilizes NRT and other applied kinesiology testing methods when recommending my products to patients. One interesting outcome from this NRT research project is that my newly invented pH Revitalizer product comes out at a +6 for almost all subjects, which provides food for thought when it comes to additional studies to see if this product applies universally for the health support and healing of the body.

Universal Products: Another interesting conclusion from this research project, based on the test results, is that all of my products test as beneficial for the five subjects. This feedback from the study is not surprising, which is because all of the products tested are considered universally beneficial when it comes to health and healing. My approach to the research and development of products has always been about holistic benefit and not to focus too narrowly on health benefits. However, it is clear that some of my products are more beneficial than others when it comes to the validity of the test results from conducting this study.

Conclusion

My hypothesis was proven to be accurate based on the test results. With the use of NRT oriented muscle strength response testing all of my products intended to have a universal health and healing benefit were proven to heal the weakest organ and or gland. Since the subjects are not patients I made no comment about the results and did not provide any recommendations about taking my products whatsoever.

Also, a nice surprise from this five subject research project is that my pH Revitalizer formula is universally beneficial to all the subjects at the highest level of response, either a plus five or even a plus six. Based on my research of micro clustered water and its relationship to pH, this result is not totally surprising. The concentrated pH Revitalizer product tests out at a pH of over 9.0 and with an NMR 017 test result for H2O cluster size, which will transform the fluid matrix of the body to deliver more energy and oxygen to the cells and to increase cellular hydration and detoxification. I plan on conducting studies with several people using muscle strength response testing to determine if the same high response is achieved for most subjects in a study for pH Revitalizer.

This study begins to point in the direction of comprehensive statements about my product inventions in terms of their health benefits. In many cases, Chiropractors or other interested parties take their products and technologies directly to the Oregon Board of Chiropractic for their approval and inclusion as authorized products for use with patients by Chiropractors. I plan on making this kind of presentation at the first meeting conducted by the Oregon Board of Chiropractic in 2012. I may also approach other Chiropractic boards as well as Chiropractic colleges. Doing so will align the approval from National College of Naturopathic Medicine with the Chiropractic profession, with many of my products included in an official partnership with this Naturopathic educational institution. My partnership with NCNM involves bringing my products and technologies to newly graduating students and to already licensed Naturopathic Physicians in the state of Oregon.
